Austrian tenor Philipp Kapeller is currently engaged as Belmonte in a run of performances of ”The Abduction from the Seraglio” at the Theater Plauen-Zwickau, but he is on his way back to his musical home, the Staatstheater Hannover, to play the part of the first sheperd in Monteverdi’s “L’Orfeo”.
