To offer the best personalised service – absolutely required for her tailored recommendations – Esther Schollum works as a solo practitioner and maintains close contact with all of her partners; this is on top of her close-knit network in the international world of music. Her extensive knowledge of works, period styles, venues and regional and national musical characters is rounded off by her origins in Vienna, world capital of classical music and home of Esther’s company ever since its founding.

Esther Schollum is also a guest lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as well as at the University of Arts Graz and the Mozarteum Salzburg and prepares voice students for their lives and professional careers as professional singers. She also enjoys reading, attending music events, and recreational running.

With a double major in Translation and Interpreting (French and Spanish) and ten years of experience in event management, press relations, communications and adult education, Esther Schollum founded Esther Schollum Artists’ Management in 1992, specialising in the representation of classical artists; ever since then, she has been working as an independent agent. In 2013 she became a lecturer at three of the top universities in the field (MDW, KUG, Mozarteum Salzburg) and has been sharing her extensive real-world knowledge with young artists, both about entering upon an artist’s career and about working with agents, promoters and presenters.
