For soprano Tamara Ivaniš, 2024 began with one of those dreaded and yet so very welcome calls: “Can you fly to Canada tomorrow and sing in two New Year’s concerts?”
Ms. Ivaniš could. Just two days later, she performed in the “Salute to Vienna” concerts in Hamilton and Toronto, achieving yet another great success — and we celebrate with her!
Back in Salzburg, her next significant task awaits: At the invitation of Rolando Villazón, Tamara Ivaniš, together with Carlos Goikoetxea on Mozart’s “Walter” grand piano and Stefan Wilkening (recitation), will present an evening titled “Letters and Music” featuring works by Salieri and Mozart.
