Sophie Gordeladze, who also stars as Lucrezia Contarini on a live recording of Verdi’s “I due foscari” at the Heidenheim Opera Festival, will perform the soprano part. In addition, the chief conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Acapulco has invited her to sing Gustav Mahler’s “Rückert-Lieder” at three concerts with his orchestra.
