Tyrolean tenor Philipp Kapeller, now a member of the ensemble at Staatstheater Braunschweig, is currently rehearsing for his role debut as Alfred in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus. Under the direction of Katharina Schmidt and the musical direction of Alexander Sinan Binder, he puts his most beautiful high notes and all his charm on the scales in order to win Rosalinde back.
