Ilia Staple and Maximilian Mayer in Bernstein’s “Candide” in Munich

At Munich’s famed Gärtnerplatztheater, Leonard Bernstein’s operetta “Candide” returns to the stage – and two ensemble members, Ilia Staple and Maximilian Mayer will celebrate their role debuts as Cunegonde and Candide.
