Sophie Rennert in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, and Munich

Mezzo-soprano Sophie Rennert impresses wherever she performs —  in recitals, on the opera stage, and in concerts. In November, she continues with diverse roles: With the Academy for Early Music under Georg Kallweit, she will appear as Galatea in a staged performance of Handel’s “Aci, Galatea e Polifemo” at the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin; with the Les Accents Ensemble under Thibault Noally, she takes on the role of Nicomède in Scarlatti’s “Mitridate eupatore” in concert performances in Paris and Amsterdam; and then she can be seen at her home theater, the Gärtnerplatz State Theater, as Angelina in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola”.
