Having enjoyed a great success with her Alcina in Handel’s eponymous opera, Georgian soprano Sophie Gordeladze now turns her talent to the Italian opera: At the Opera Festival Heidenheim, she is cast as Lucrezia Contarini in Giuseppe Verdi’s “I due Foscari”.
