At the Komische Oper Berlin, Brecht’s opera “Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny”, certainly among the most radical and justly famous musical works of the XX. century, returns to the stage in a production by Barrie Kosky under Ainārs Rubiķis’s baton; tenor Philipp Kapeller joins them, again as Jack O’Brian.
