Conducting is truly a form of art, but it also requires craftsmanship. From July 25th through August 1st, Johannes Wildner, Professor of Conducting at Vienna’s University of Music and Performing Arts, will work with conductors and soloists on two pianos as part of the Vienna Music Workshop, followed by three days of practice with the Savaria Symphony Orchestra. The selection includes works by Beethoven, Schubert, Webern and Brahms. The workshop concludes with a concert on August 1st at the Congress Casino Baden.
