As in years past, Swedish conductor Jon Svinghammar is on the rostrum for the Jugendsinfonieorchester Niederösterreich, the Lower Austria Youth Symphony Orchestra. Under his direction, the more than eighty musicians between the ages of fifteen and twenty-two will work on and perform Jean Sibelius’ tone poem “Finlandia” and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.
