Johannes Wildner conducts Brahms in Guadalajara (Mexico)

The Festival de Mayo in Guadalajara, Mexico, continues its long-standing collaboration with Austrian conductor Johannes Wildner. This time he has been invited for two concerts with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco. The first features Brahms’ Violin Concerto with soloist Geneva Lewis, as well as Brahms’ Symphony No. 1. For the festival’s grand closing concert, he conducts Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 with Lilya Zilberstein as soloist, followed by selected works by Johann Strauss (Jr.).
