Straight from the Innsbruck Early Music Festival, where she presented a brilliant programme with works by Sammartini and Handel, via an appearance as the Third lady in “The Magic Flute”at the Salzburger Festspiele, Austrian mezzo-soprano Sophie Rennert joins the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of their founding – with, of course, a concert featuring music from the English Baroque period.
