Yutaka Sado, Principal Conductor of the Tonkünstler Niederösterreich orchestra and artistic director of the Hyogo Performing Arts Center has invited German-born bass Bernd Hofmann to sing the part of hereditary forester Cuno in his new production of Carl Maria von Weber’s “Der Freischütz”. Michael Temme stages the opera, and the première is on July 20th.
