After several guest engagements at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, the Flemish opera and ballet company with venues in Ghent and Antwerp, Wolfgang Stefan Schwaiger will appear there from December as Don Giovanni in Mozart’s eponymous opera. The production is directed by Tom Goossens, with Francesco Corti conducting.
Immediately after the premiere he returns to his home company, Oper Köln, where he appears as Dandini in Gioacchino Rossini’s La Cenerentola. The work is staged by Cecilia Ligorio and conducted by Matteo Beltrami.
