Throughout March, Wolfgang Stefan Schwaiger recently acclaimed as Taddeo in “L’italiana in Algeri” and as donkey owner in Orff’s “Die Kluge” — will be on the stage of the Oper Köln as the gamekeeper in Antonín Dvořák’s tale of the water nymph “Rusalka” before doing a 180° turn: At the Théâtre des Abesses in Paris, he will, for the first time, perform Schubert’s lied cycle “Die schöne Müllerin”. Barbara Moser is to accompany him on the piano.
