After an eventful autumn with performances in Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam, the tasks awaiting Austrian mezzo-soprano Sophie Rennert in December are no less varied. However, all her performances take place in her home venue, the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich: Here, she is now seen and heard as Hänsel in Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Hänsel und Gretel”, as Prinz Orlofsky in Johann Strauss’s “Die Fledermaus”, and as Piacere in “Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno”.
