On the heels of his Alfred (“The Bat”), his Tamino (“The Magic Flute”) and a rousing success with his performance at the ball of the Chemnitz Opera, where he sang Nadir’s air from “Les pêcheurs de perles”, among others, Siyabonga Maqungo now takes on the role of Pong in the coming series of shows of Puccini’s “Turandot”. Maqungo’s captivating tenor voice is sure to make this Pong a treat!
