Austrian tenor Philipp Kapeller, currently a member of the ensemble of the Staatsoper Hannover, often guests with his previous artistic home, the Staatsoper Oldenburg. In late February, he will once again mount the stage at Oldenburg, this time to fill Arturo’s role in Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” with life – and an untimely death.
