The young Tyrolean bass Oliver Sailer takes on the role of the tragic hero Don Quichotte at the Tyrolean State Theatre in Innsbruck in Jules Massenet’s opera of the same name. In a production directed by Julia Burbach, the dance and music theatre ensembles of the Tyrolean State Theatre come together to present an evening that shows how difficult it is to believe in the beautiful, the good, and the true even where they are absent. The musical direction is by Matthew Toogood.
