Tenor Maximilian Mayer, currently also on stage as Tamino at the Staatstheater Kassel, will debut in his first-ever Wagner rôle at that house. The “Ring”, staged by Markus Dietz from 2018- 2020, but rudely interrupted by the pandemic, is being resumed, with Francesco Angelico at the rostrum. Mr Mayer will play Froh.
