Multi-faceted soprano Katharina Ruckgaber sparkles in many brilliant colours: At the Theater Freiburg, where Henry Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” returns to the stage, she sings the part of Belinda; to mark the publication of renowned pianist Helmut Deutsch’s autobiography “Gesang auf Händen tragen”, she sang a selection of lieder; and in between, she joined Tenor Daniel Johannsen and the Bergische Symphony, Daniel Huppert conducting, for a gala with the greatest operetta hits.
