German soprano Katharina Ruckgaber, currently at the Theater Freiburg in rôles such as Ännchen in “Der Freischütz”, Mélisande in Claude Debussy’s “Pelléas et Mélisande”, and the vixen in Leoš Janáček’s “The Cunning Little Vixen”, joins tenor Franz Gürtelschmied under the baton of David Holzinger to present the best of Viennese operetta at the Brandenburger Theater.
