Bass-baritone Matthias Hoffmann and baritone Wolfgang Resch, both born and bred Tyroleans, are currently rehearsing for Léo Delibes’s opera „Lakmé“ at the Tiroler Landestheater, right in their home town. After a seemingly unending series of Covid-19-related delays, Matthias Hoffmann mounts the stage as Brahmin priest Nilakantha, and for five performances, Wolfgang Resch joins him as British officer Frédéric.
