Over the course of this season, Christoph Seidl was much noticed, for instance as Fafner with the Cologne Philharmonic under Kent Nagano, as Hermit in “Freischütz”, as Simone in “Il trittico” and as Commendatore in “Don Giovanni” at the Aalto-Theater in Essen. He now returns to the Aalto’s stage for his role debut as Count Waldner in Richard Straus’s opera “Arabella”.
