The National Theatre Mannheim presented Mozart’s Da Ponte cycle in co-production with the National Theatre Prague. In Tatjana Gürbaca’s production, “the school for lovers,” as the opera Così fan tutte is subtitled, becomes a poetic chamber play that comes into its own on the stage of the Schwetzingen Palace Theatre. The conductor for the revival now on the programme is Anton Legkii.
