After her great success at the Burgplatz Open Air in Braunschweig last summer — she played Amneris in “Aida” — Franco-Canadian mezzo-soprano Nora Sourouzian returns to Braunschweig this year for Verdi’s “Il trovatore”; she performs one of her signature roles, Azucena, which she brings to life not only with her expressive voice but also with her vivid portrayal. Oh, and we may already reveal that the coming season will again see her on the stage of the Staatstheater Braunschweig!
