In addition to his production of Detlev Glanert’s “Three Water Games” at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Anton Legkii will now also take over the musical direction of Astor Piazzolla’s tango opera “Maria de Buenos Aires” at the same theater. The production portrays the panorama of life in the Argentine metropolis Buenos Aires through the music of the composer, based on the lyrical texts of poet Horacio Ferrer.
