From tenderly in love and sensitive to furious with anger or jealousy, Sophie Rennert embodies every emotion convincingly. From the season closing gala at the Gärtnerplatz Theater to the title role in Vivaldi’s “Juditha triumphans” at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music and a lieder recital featuring works by Robert Schumann and Franz Schubert with Joseph Middleton on piano as well as an ensemble lieder recital (with Nikola Hillebrand, Stuart Jackson, Manuel Walser, Malcolm Martineau and Joseph Middleton on piano), this summer presents her with ample opportunities to showcase her talent.
