Fresh from her rousing success as Eboli in Verdi’s “Don Carlo” at the Aalto-Theater in Essen, Nora Sourouzian has picked another Verdi rôle for the Braunschweig Open-Air: Amneris in “Aida”, a part that she already sang last year at the Danish Jyske Opera — her debut in this role — and that she is engaged to perform next year at the Operaen, the opera venue of the Kongelige Opera in Copenhagen.
