Versatile Ilia Staple not only fills the house as Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady” at the Salzburger Landestheater (the show runs till May), she also celebrated her more-than-successful role debut as Gilda in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” this past February. In March, Ms. Staple plans to treat us to another of her favourites: In the Gärtnerplatztheater’s “The Magic Flute” she is cast as the Queen of the Night.
