On tour: Siyabonga Maqungo and the Minnesota Orchestra with Beethoven’s Ninth – July 21st, Aug. 17th through 19th

South African tenor Siyabonga Maqungo, slated to join the ensemble of the Chemnitz opera this coming fall, is spending part of the summer travelling: On July 21st, he sings the tenor role Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in Minnesota under Osmo Vänskä’s baton, with two additional performances on August 17th and 18th in Johannesburg.
