While Anton Legkii continues to oversee a broad repertoire at Nationaltheater Mannheim—including performances in February of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Donizetti’s Lucrezia Borgia—he will also conduct a family concert. Set to music by Johann Strauss, it tells a fairy tale in which a “musical stone soup” is prepared. Each instrument contributes an ingredient to the story.
