This summer the Franco-Canadian mezzo-soprano Nora Sourouzian returned to one of her signature roles, the title part in Bizet’s Carmen, stepping in at short notice for the Schlossfestspiele Heidelberg. After a song recital of French music in Berlin — featuring works by Ernest Chausson, Henri Duparc, Maurice Ravel and Francis Poulenc — Nora Sourouzian will be heard in Biel with the Symphony Orchestra Biel-Solothurn under Yannis Pouspourikas, performing songs by Kurt Weill and Jara Beneš.
