Countertenor Fabrice Di Falco was acclaimed by audiences and the press in 2021 for his portrayal of Akhnaten in Philip Glass’s eponymous opera at the Opéra de Nice in a staging by Lucinda Childs. That production, which invites the audience on a journey to the time of the 18th Egyptian pharaoh, is now offered in a concert version under the musical direction of Léo Warynski in the Grande Salle of the Pierre Boulez Philharmonie in Paris.
