The Austrian coloratura soprano Ilia Staple, a member of the ensemble of the Wiener Staatsoper since September 2024, makes her role debut as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute for Children by Wolfgang Amadé Mozart, with Cornelius Meister conducting. Held in the festive ballroom just after the Vienna Opernball, this event has become a tradition and welcomes some seven thousand children from all over Austria.
