Well-rounded: Oliver Sailer with lied recitals, oratorios and opera

For Oliver Sailer, the young bass from Tyrol, October begins with a Robert Schumann and Hugo Wolf recital. He then meets up with the boys’ choir of the Wiltener Sängerknaben to sing in Handel’s oratorio “Saul”, first at the basilica at Stams, then at the Haus der Musik in Innsbruck. In Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck he will then be on stage as First Priest and as Second Armoured Man; later this season he will also sing the part of the unfairly maligned Sarastro.
