Versatile voices 2: A many-faceted Christoph Seidl at the Theater am Gärtnerplatz – Oct. 3rd, 11th and 28th

On October 3rd, bass Christoph Seidl will present a lieder recital at the Gärtnerplatztheater, joining up with mezzo Anna-Katharina Tonauer and pianist Oleg Ptashnikov to offer works penned by Gottfried von Einem and Viktor Ullmann.

From October 11th, he presents a different aspect of von Einem’s work, when he mounts the stage to play the part of Simon in von Einem’s opera “Dantons Tod”; Anthony Bramall is conducting this production staged by Günther Krämer.

From October 28th Seidl appears in one opera’s greatest bass roles, il Commendatore as Herbert Föttinger’s production of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” returns to the stage at the Gärtnerplatztheater.
