Johannes Wildner returns to the Romanian State Opera Bucharest to take the rostrum as the “Cavalleria rusticana” and “Pagliacci” return to the stage; Mo. Wildner is the musical director for this production.
He then offers a peek at his upcoming tenure (from the 2019/20 season) as Principal Conductor of the Sønderjyllands Symfonieorkester, conducting two joint concerts of “his” new orchestra with the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Sinfonieorchester; the world première of young composer Alma Deutscher’s waltz “Siren Sounds” is complemented by Gustav Mahler’s Sixth Symphony.
