Austrian baritone Wolfgang Resch returns to his former artistic home, the Konzert Theater Bern, to mount the stage as Piet in the science fiction opera “Humanoid”. The opera, a bespoke work written by Dutch composer Leonard Evers for the Konzert Theater Bern and the Theater Winterthur, is based on a thriller by Swiss author Pamela Dürr and deals with emotions, artificial intelligence, responsibility and the desire for everlasting fun.
The Fantasy opera for a chamber music ensemble and six vocalists premières in Winterthur and then travels to the Konzert Theater Bern.
