“Rhythm and Dance”: Conductor Jon Svinghammar works with the Tyrolean Youth Orchestra

Swedish conductor Jon Svinghammar currently rehearses a rather challenging programme with the Tiroler Landesjugendorchester: From Franz Schubert’s 7th Symphony B minor D 759 (“the Unfinished”) via Antonín Dvořák’s “Eight Slavonic Dances” op. 46 and Alexander Borodin’s “Polovtsian Dances” (“Prince Igor”, end of act 2) to the world première of a work by young Tyrolean composers Michael A. Leitner and Gabriel Bramböck for symphony orchestra and tango quintet.

The performance will be streamed on April 17th.
