Première: In Paris, Wolfgang Resch as Orsanes in Reinhard Keiser’s “Croesus”

On short notice, Austrian baritone Wolfgang Resch was asked to play the part of Lydian noble Orsanes in Reinhard Keiser’s baroque opera “Croesus”. The producers, French opera company Arcal, show this production at the Théâtre Athénée in Paris before touring France. Benoît Bénichou stages the production while Johannes Pramsohler, South Tyrol-born Early Music specialist, undertakes the musical direction.
