Italian tenor Matteo Macchioni clearly thrives in Denmark’s northern climes. On the heels of his successes as Conte Almviva in “Il barbiere di Siviglia” and as Don Ferrando in “Così fan tutte”, he returns to the Royal Danish Opera Copenhagen to welcome the New Year with pieces from Jacques Offenbach’s “Orphée aux enfers” and “La belle Hélène”.
