Multi-faceted: Wolfgang Resch as Hans Scholl in Oslo, then with a recital at the Lied Festival Zeist

Wolfgang Resch is once again stepping into Hans Scholl’s shoes when the Theater Biel Solothurn and its celebrated production of Udo Zimmermann’s “Weiße Rose” are hosted by the Norske Opera in Oslo.

Less than a week earlier, at the Internationales Lied-Festival Zeist, he will have shared the stage with Austrian mezzo-soprano Sophie Rennert; invited by Graham Johnson to offer a Reading and Recital, they will present lieder by Franz Schubert, George Bizet, Francis Poulenc, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten and David Newbold.
