Having recently delivered a stunning performance as a disabled and abused girl in Gerd Kühr’s Stallerhof in Klagenfurt, German soprano Katharina Ruckgaber is now stepping into the role of the spirited courtesan Musetta in Puccini’s La bohème at the Komische Oper Berlin. Following rehearsals for this revival in December, she will perform in several New Year’s concerts with Salute to Vienna in Canada before appearing on stage under Jordan de Souza in Barrie Kosky’s production of La bohème.
