Johannes Wildner showing the breadth and depth of his expertise

Johannes Wildner, Principal Conductor of the Sønderjyllands Symphony, returns to Sønderborg; in the wake of his successful initial concerts with “his” new orchestra, his coming stay will revolve around a Wagner and Beethoven programme.

Soon afterwards he visits Bavaria, where he conducts the Hofer Symphoniker in a contemporary work by Rolf Martinson followed by Nielsen’s clarinet concerto and Mozart’s Es major Symphony Nr. 39.

Wildner rounds his October out with a well-beloved tradition: To celebrate the Austrian National Holiday on October 26th, he and the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra offer a gala concert in the Golden Hall at the Wiener Musikverein.
