Director Kai Anne Schuhmacher already attracted major attention with her productions for the Oper Köln, the Staatstheater Mainz, the Theater Altenburg-Gera and the Nederlandse Reisopera, and her debut at the Landestheater Innsbruck was already set for March when Covid-19 struck.
But better late than never, and on September 18th, at the Landestheater Innsbruck, the young German director will present her staging of Peter Maxwell Davies’s chamber opera “The Lighthouse” !
