Christoph Seidl as Colline in La Bohème, as the peasant in Carl Orff’s “Die Kluge”, and on CD

When the critic of the Neuer Merker commented on Christoph Seidl’s role debut as Colline this past season, he found that “Colline and Christoph Seidl are one. A synthesis of internalised song and acting.”

In addition to more appearances as Colline, the young bass offers his next role debut: in October, he takes on the part of the peasant in Carl Orff’s “Die Kluge”.

And as if that were not yet enough, a recording with Christian Seidl was just published by Capriccio: Carl Maria von Weber’s opera “Peter Schmoll” with Seidl as Hans Bast was recorded live at the Theater an der Wien and is available at the ORF Shop.
