Austrian baritone Wolfgang Resch continues to enjoy a diverse range of music in his performances. After a successful summer with Rameau’s opera “Platée” (in Switzerland) and Orff’s “Carmina Burana,” he gladly accepted an invitation from the Vienna Musikverein; in four concerts he and some colleagues are planning to kindle children’s inspiration and enthusiasm for Johannes Brahms.
Next, he will participate in the world premiere of Johannes Brömmel’s “Blackmountain,” a performance for voice, instruments, and live electronics, exploring what humanity would wish for if it had only one hour left to live.
