Before Katharina Ruckgaber fully focuses on rehearsing her role as Ännchen in “Der Freischütz” at the Bregenz Festival (staging by Philipp Stölzl), she takes on two very different tasks: Together with Jan Philip Schulze on piano, she gives a Lied recital in Leipzig featuring works by Fanny Hensel, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and others; right afterwards, she can be seen in Andorra as Bellezza, in a performance of Georg Friedrich Händel’s “Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno” staged by Joan Anton Rechi.
